Thai Iced Tea (Cha-Yen) Recipe
Ingredients
- Thai Tea Mix 2 (Bluemocha Blend) 2 tbsp
- Non-Dairy Creamer 1 tbsp
- Fresh Milk 60 ml.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk 40 ml.
- Ice Cubes
Brewing Methods
- Option 1 : Espresso Machine Extract the tea leaves to obtain 120 ml. of concentrated tea liquor.
- Option 2 : Traditional Cloth Filter Bag
- Steep 2 tablespoons of tea in 175 ml. of hot water for 3–5 minutes.
- “Pull” the tea by pouring it back and forth between two containers 3–4 times to fully release the aroma.
- Strain the leaves to obtain 120 ml. of concentrated tea liquor.
Instructions
- Mixing : Add the non-dairy creamer, sweetened condensed milk, and fresh milk into the hot tea liquor. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
